ButatiDham It is believed that about five hundred years ago, Saint Chaturdas ji was residing here. Here the family members of the patient regularly carry the circumambulation of 7 temples – the havan kunds are used and the disease gradually reduces its effect. Parts of the body which are not moving, they start working slowly.

Establishment of Butati According to the paranormal legend in the beginning of 1600 AD, Badh Sharma (Dyama), a Brahmin founded Bututi was named after Butaati, after which the politician got the power of Bututi. On the Bututi, Rajpoot Thakur Sahib, who was named Bhum Singh, established his authority over it, but after the name of Buttati new name Bhum Singh ji started to be known as ButatiDham!

In the village there is a temple of Saint Chattar Das Ji Maharaj towards the west side. This temple is the main center of faith. In this temple, paralysis person is paralyzed only in seven rounds.
There are four walls and doors all around this temple complex – Bed for travelers coming from outside the temple, cold water for drinking food, cooking equipments and utensils, for burning seven days, room etc. Arrangements are free.

There is a proper arrangement in the temple premises to wash baths – there is also an accessible toilet. There is a large tank of water in the temple premises and cold water is being used in place to cool the water. There are about 100 shops on the outskirts of the temple premises. There are facility-related hospices for the accommodation, all the necessities of the passengers are provided for free, bedding, ration, utensils, firewood etc.
